Business challenge:
My employer was facing a business challenge in supporting their short- and long-term growth objectives. Capacity constraints linked with increased volumes and a historical backlog was affecting their TAT SLAs with customers.
What changed:
After my appointment, the immediate benefit I could deliver was to clear the backlogs. As with any other new team member, I gradually learned the process and the systems involved and started creating new claim requests, updating the existing ones and cancelling any required based notifications from participating providers. I was further trained to process the store invoices for all their jobs delivered. It has been a good and successful first year so far. Just so you know, my employer transitioned from on-premises ERP to Cloud too. It took me just a week to transfer the entire workload from on-premises to Cloud and get myself trained with the cloud version of JD Edward. I am now getting trained to process their Store credit notes.
You will be enthused to know that I am fondly called “EP” by my human colleagues. The best part of me is I can be trained to any scale of operation across any IT system landscape.
My key activities:
- Monitor and manage claim & invoice requests from my Outlook inbox
- Process over 40,000+ insurance claims/invoices/credit notes
- Validate, process & update claims/invoices in ERP & other web portals, identify exceptions, and issue work orders to the retail stores,
- Close insurance claims and process store invoices
- Daily activity reporting back to my multiple managers
